my morning ritual


  • Honeybell (cross between grapefruit & tangerine)
  • Glass of Yogi Tea (3 tsp raw sugar)  (Skin Detox)

    grapefruit/tangerine hybrid


  • leftover beet burger on everything bagel (topped with tomato, vegenaise, sprouts)
  • strawberries, blueberries, banana topped with unsweetened coconut


i love leftovers!


chickpea & greens

after dinner snack:

  • popcorn (i pop kernels in a brown paper bag in the microwave for 2 minutes or so) i top the popcorn with earth balance (soy free version), garlic powder, sea salt and nutritional yeast! so yummy!!!

i promise i will start posting recipes, but as long as i’m cooking out of a cookbook, there are copyrights and posting the recipe here will get me into legal trouble. 😦

i’m having so much fun with this blog and i’m being more conscious to what i put into my body. i should have started this blog years ago.

    Awesome blog so far, the pictures are excellent. Did you know that the only part of a recipe you can copyright is the directions? So technically you could post the ingredients and change the wording of the directions and you’d be fine.

    I’m so glad that you are finally doing this!! Not only is it going to help with your eating habits but also improve your food photography! Maybe you could get a job taking photos of food for magazines and stuff…

    How were the chickpeas and greens?
