so my grandmother LOVES friendlys. i am not a fan. however today when i took her and her sister out for lunch, i opened the menu just to laugh about how i can’t eat anything on the menu…. and to my surprise friendlys can substitute a BOCA BURGER for any of their burgers. of course i can’t have their cheese, bacon and other gross toppings, but i was able to eat. not too shabby.
- chickpea salad salad over mixed baby greens, tomato and carrots with homemade “honey” mustard dressing.
- banana “ice cream”
okay… i just discovered a way to curb my sugar cravings. all night i’ve wanted to run to the grocery store to get junk food…. instead i took some frozen bananas out of the freezer and stuck em in the food processor until it came to the consistency of soft serve ice cream. i got the idea from the crazy sexy diet book… i topped my banana ice cream with vegan chocolate chips and unsweetened coconut flakes. YUM!
