i don’t know who christopher is or where he came from but he knows what he’s doing. this raw restaurant ROCKS! the restaurant itself is gorgeous. great location (although over an hour drive from where i live – blah!). bright natural light throughout the space. simple and clean furnishings. i loved it the moment i stepped inside.
the menu is amazing and everything i ordered lived up to the expectations! wow. they need a location in broward, miami, san francisco and new york city. THAT is how good this place is! like i said, this christopher guy knows what’s up!
i’ve never had green tomatoes. totally amazing. the macadamia cheese was delish! so so so so well executed. i was able to enjoy all the basil since nikki isn’t so much a fan of fresh herbs! more for meeeee! even the plating is gorgeous, right????
what’s that topping on the nyc roll you ask? that would be zucchini “bacon”. it was crunchy deliciousness. the roll was filled with teriyaki almond pate, mango, kale, sprouts, red pepper and sweet & spicy ginger sauce. so so good! why don’t they make rolls like this in sushi restaurants!?!?!?!?
i was surprised that my sun burger came out on bread. at a raw restaurant i’d expect crackers as “bread” but i’m sure they are only appeasing the palm beach crowds they are serving. and i’m sure the bread is sprouted which is about as raw as bread can get! 😉 the sammy was super tasty.
i love the funky mason jars for the smoothies! yay! i want to try everything at christopher’s kitchen!
i wish i lived closer to christopher’s because i’d probably try to get a job there. this place is truly amazing and i hope they do expand their business to more cities across the country! honestly the caliber of this restaurant was up there with nyc / san francisco restaurants. in fact it blew cafe gratitude away. seriously. THAT GOOD.
we also purchased a variety of raw chocolate goodies from the bakery case. our favorite was the mint chocolate (which tasted almost identical to a thin mint girl scout cookie)! next time i must try the cheesecake.
